We were impressed with their commitment and felt it was worthwhile to send missionaries to the Philippines. We had trained 7 more missionaries in the for the next trainings and we had many young people interested in joining the training. But sponsoring them financially was difficult.

In 2001, our Mongolian Mission field executive committee discussed extensively the agenda on the launching of 1000 MM program in Mongolia to help our young members to be involved in missionary activities. Plans were laid out for this plan and in 2002 we had our first Mongolian 1000 MM. Twenty-two (22) precious young people had joined our first training.

Since then, God has blessed us greatly and we have already conducted 5 trainings. Please continue praying for Mongolian Mission Field.

Mongolian Branch Update

In 1999 we have made a decision to send two people for 1000 MM training in the Philippines by the request of 1000 MM. We are thankful for taking an initiative to invite missionaries to your campus.

The two missionaries were Urnaa Urtnasan and Nyamdavaa Dovchinsure. Upon the completion of their training they came back and worked as church planters in Mongolia. Urnaa with her Korean partner worked in Darkhan, Nyamdavaa with his Korean partner worked in Erdenet.

Our old church in the 1000 MM main campus has been a witness to many miraculous things God has given to us through His sincere servants during the last 18 years. However, we realized that we should prepare a bigger church for our missionaries because the space is not enough to accommodate all of them especially during big events such as training months and homecoming celebrations.

During their meeting in November 2008, it was decided by the NSD Board to build a new church. Pastor Si Young Kim led the new church’s groundbreaking ceremony at the second Mission Forum from May 20 to 24, 2009. On March 3 this year, construction finally started. A couple of weeks later, the pillars were already standing and the roofing completed. At present, the interior work of the building is being done. Specifically, most of the materials used for the building were imported from Korea and the construction done by Korean specialists.

Despite the fact that the Philippines is experiencing the El Nino Phenomenon at this time, during the entire period of construction, God showered our area with rain whenever we really needed it. Another good thing happened when we finished putting up the roof. The next day saw heavy rain, and so the workers got to test the roof. The fact that no one got hurt or slipped while working on the roof is also another miracle.

It only took two and a half months to complete the whole project. The tentative date for the completion of the church is late May. Until then, we have the assurance of God’s unceasing help.

Praise the Lord!

Many miracles happened during the entire period of construction.  The 100MM did not have enough money to build but until now God has touch a lot of hearts and donors are still generously giving. We also confronted difficulties during the working phase, but God always pitched in to help every time we had problems.

The day we were to pour concrete, heavy rain started in the morning. That worried us and so we had radical prayer. A very amazing thing happened. The heavy rain lessened little by little, and around 11 o’clock, the rain stopped. We finished pouring the concrete that day. A day later, God gave us merciful showers for three days in a row so we didn’t need to worry about the splitting of the concrete due to the scorching heat of the summer season.
